The Board of County Commissioners of Delta County, Colorado is soliciting competitive sealed bid proposals from professional firms that are capable of providing Design/Build services in support of the Remodel and Refurbish of the existing structure located at 124 East 6th Street, Delta, CO. The completed project will provide community rooms and other services in the relocation of the Delta Library. The successful bidder will deliver an innovative, highly efficient design that utilizes construction techniques and materials that promote fiscal responsibility while sustaining a Building that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to provide information to prospective vendors (hereinafter referred to as a “Vendor” or “Respondent”) for the submission of sealed bids to be considered by Delta County (hereinafter referred to as “COUNTY). Bidders may obtain bidding documents through this website (see link(s) at the bottom of this page). Bids must be submitted on County forms with any additional information attached. All bids shall be marked “DESIGN-BUILD SERVICES-REMODEL & REFURBISH on the face of the envelope and hand-delivered or mailed to the Delta County Attorney’s Office, 540 Columbia, Street, # A, Delta, CO, 81416, no later than December 3, 2021, at 10:00 A.M. Bids received after this time SHALL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids will be publicly opened on December 3, 2021, at 11:00 A.M., Delta County Administration Building, Samuel Wade Room, 560 Dodge Street, Delta, Colorado 81416. Bids will be presented to the Delta County Board of County Commissioners for consideration at a regularly scheduled Board of County Commissioners meeting.
A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021, at 10:30 A.M. The pre-bid conference will be held at the project site, located at 124 East 6th Street, Delta, CO. Bidders must participate and record their presence at the pre-bid conference to be allowed to submit a bid proposal.
The County reserves the right to reject any bids; to change, add, or amend the specifications; to waive any informality; to accept the proposal which, in its judgment, best serves the interest of the County.
