Birth Control


To provide reproductive health care services and contraceptive supplies to those who need and want them, but may not be able to afford them. To encourage family planning so that all pregnancies are planned for and wanted. Family planning is an integral part of good health; adding to family stability and to the dignity of the individual. All Family Planning services are confidential, provided to women and men of any age capable of reproduction. Fees are based upon household income, so that many people can receive low-cost or free services and supplies through the Family Planning Program. Teens are welcomed and encouraged to participate in their health care plans. Services Provided

All services are provided by nurse practitioners and registered nurses, Spanish interpreters are available.

  • Pregnancy tests, counseling, and referrals.
  • Pre-pregnancy care planning.
  • Birth control supplies.
  • Emergency contraception, Plan B.
  • Physical exams for women; includes pap test, breast exam, STD testing, other labs as indicated.
  • Sexually transmitted infection testing/treatment for men and women.
  • Health education and counseling.
  • Referrals for care beyond scope of program services.
  • Community presentations and outreach.
